Suggestion: Manual Frame Anchors
« on: June 13, 2021, 03:40:59 PM »
In the past, AutoBar recognized a few other addon frames as an anchor snap-point, such as Grid. I had AutoBar anchored to my Grid frame for many years. Jumping into TBC Classic after a long time away from the game, Grid has been discontinued in favor of Grid2 which is not recognized as a snap point. To my surprise, I was able to set "Grid2LayoutFrame" as a snap point by manually editing AutoBar's settings file.

A manual text entry option for anchoring might appeal to a lot of players. With the current structure of the options menus, I understand it is not a simple thing. Just a small suggestion.

Also, on the topic of anchors, the "Shift dock" (both X and Y) does not seem to work. I don't use that, so I'm ok there. I just thought I would mention it.

I love AutoBar and I am so happy that it has been maintained for so long. It is one of the core addons I don't think I would play the game without. Thank you for your work, Muffin Man!!
