AutoBar / [classic] Drop Button adds incorrect macro
« Last post by Heinz Kirch on April 03, 2020, 02:43:39 PM »
Version: AutoBar 1.13.3.01

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new button and add it to any bar
2. Select Drop and Always Show
3. Delete the default category
4. Drop any macro on the button

Instead of adding the correct macro it will always add the first macro in your macro list.

Thank you, I will try that out. This is the closest thing I've found to swapping ability bar buttons on the fly.

If you are taking any feature requests, then this would be one of them. I can't tell you how valuable I think this addon would be with this feature. For example, we would be able to make certain pots with a specific keybind and swap them out in the middle of combat by clicking it and press the same keybind to use the pot for the situation (swapping a FAP out for LAP). This would work wonders for specific BG pots, bandages, standards, grenades, deranking abilities, macros... it would be incredible.

I appreciate your help!

Sorry, I meant "Rearrange Order on Use", not Shuffle.

No, there's no way to explicitly change the order without using an item.

I set the button to shuffle and used my runecloth bandages but the default button stayed on the AV bandages. The shuffle says it only replaces depleted items, but I have stacks of each item... so this may be the problem? Just to clarify, there's no way to change the default button on the go, so I can swap the correct item to the keybound button when entering the BGs?

Thank you for your quick response.

Keybinds are set per button, not per item.  If you set the button to Shuffle, then the last used one will become the one shown on the bar.  If you want to have separate buttons for battleground and normal bandages, you can create custom buttons and add whatever categories you like.

AutoBar / How to change the keybound item? [WoW Classic]
« Last post by dad dont on March 10, 2020, 05:38:17 PM »
Hey, I am curious how to change the defaulted item slot on autobar.
For example, I have bandages for AV, WSG, and regular Runecloth Bandages. I set a keybind for the autobar but it only keybinds one of the bandages(the one in the default slot). I tried to click and move the other bandage to replace the "default" slot so it will use that bandage instead for the keybind, but it seems that only one item will stay on the default bar. Is there any way to make this work like Itemrack where I can swap bandages on the go by clicking it and keep the same keybind for that slot?

AutoBar / Re: Creating New Custom Flyout For Off-Hand Weapons (Caster)

Yeah, that trinket behaviour is unique to the trinket button.  I don't know when or if I'll have time to add an Offhand button, but I'll add it to my To Do list.

Ah!

That is a much easier way of doing it! It is a shame it does not work the same as the trinket section as that swaps to current equiped, but it is by far the best "flyout" addon!

Really appreciate the help

David
